This short video is my first step in bringing my teaching here to Substack. Let’s get to know each other.
You read my post last week on why I’ve left stretching behind. Here’s the video version of that note with a very short demonstration at the end—so you can see how I actually use myofascial self-massage every day in my own body.
This isn’t just a technique, a quick fix. No, it’s a doorway into connection with your body. Sadly, we’ve been told that fixing our bodies is done on our own. When we connect in community with each other, the work becomes so much more powerful.
I’m figuring out how to bring my teaching here to Substack, and I want to grow a community of women who are ready to learn this practice together.

AnneMerle - Great video! I love how you offer an explanation of what you are doing, why you are dong it, how it differs from many other types of body work along with a short example people can follow along with. Well worth the five minutes and it leaves me curious to learn more!
